Tools for the job
These are the tools we use because of their high quality, durability, and ease of application.
Ball and bullet brushes together for seams, stitching, and fine edges.
Soft oval brush for cream and finish — the one most folks keep within reach.
Rounded tip for curves, seams, and tight spots on leather and wood.
Soft pads for working cream into leather without scratching the grain.
Jackets, seats, and bags live outside.
Doing it right
1
Get the dirt and road grit off first. Conditioner over grit just works the grit in.
2
Thin coat of Biker Edition, fingers or a cloth, into seams and high-wear spots. Cold leather takes it slower — work it a little longer.
3
Wipe the extra before you ride. A few minutes after a wet ride goes a long way.
Out in the world
From the mailbag
On the way home from work, is a whole different story. I started off in a mild rain and it turned into the biggest torrential rainfall I have ever experienced in Alaska. Anyway, after getting home, my chaps and jacket were completely dry. The rain just beaded off.

It has breathed new life into my distressed brown leather riding jacket and a matching set of gloves. These got wet in an unexpected storm (about 1 inch in 30 minutes) and the product I was using just did not measure up.

You guys have the best leather care product and at least equal customer service. I have been riding hunters and jumpers for 62 years, have tried every leather care product and yours is superior to them all. No contest !

Handmade in Port Townsend, Washington.
Wipe clean, apply, buff in, and let it sit before you ride. A few minutes of care after a wet ride goes a long way.
Cold leather takes cream slower — warm it slightly, or just work it in a little longer, so it soaks in instead of sitting on top.
It’s built for leather and leather-like gear; check a small spot on vinyl first since materials vary bike to bike.
