Lab only. Credit line sits on the bottom of the map band, centered. The story is a slider: image plus paragraph, dots underneath. It advances on its own only while this band is on screen. Slide 1 stops at “from that work.” Slide 2 is the next paragraph already on the homepage. More slides are waiting on Jimmy.

Meet Vince & Susan

Skidmore’s is a small family business that started in Laramie, Wyoming in the late 1980s. Vince spent his teen years in the family antique shop — stripping, repairing, and refinishing wood — and created a simple, non-toxic wood finish from that work.

In 2011 they moved the workshop to Port Townsend, Washington. Vince still produces every product by hand in small batches; together they still label, pack, and ship daily. If you call, you’ll get Vince or Susan — not a ticket queue.
